Does anyone know if there is a CAM SERVO SAVER (like the one on the savage) available for the EK4 S2 or do I just need a better servo?

you need a better servo I would say.. what problem are you having?  What servo are you using now?

The EK4 uses a cam style servo saver already?  Like on the new savages... unless you are reffering to something else?

Hi Jeff

The problem is that it takes about a football pitch size area to turn unless I throttle up & bounce it round.I am currently using a bog standard Acombs IC as12 servo, what is weird though is that my previous thunder tiger ek4 s2 used the same srevo and that had no problems turning! I am running on a 6v 1000 milli amp battery (old ek4 was running a 6v 1200 milli amp would this be a possibility.

Regards

I don't know Acoms gear intimately but I wouldn't go fitting the cheapest they make on the steering of an EK  - you really need a torquey, pref metal geared servo. The battery capacity won't matter a bit to the steering.

If a decent servo doesn't help then my guess is something is either out of kilter with the steering geometry or there is something binding up. How much toe in/out is it running? Does the steering go easily from lock to lock?

As said above the battery pack won't have a thing to do with it...  hard to say with out more info (as above) or some pictures but I would also wonder if maybe some gears are stripped on the servo??  Could there be a washer missing on the servo saver?  Or perhaps even the spring???  If it's too loose then there would for sure be some issues no matter what servo you have...
