To become an ACE Hobby dealer, please complete the Dealer Application
Form, which is available upon request by calling
949-900-3305, or E-mail to Cinthia Bogarin. If you need any assistance during the application,
you may call our sales representatives.
For dealers who are already in business, completed
dealer application packages should include:
Completed Dealer Application Form
One current picture of your storefront showing your business sign and surrounding area.
Two current pictures of your inventory
One copy of your sales tax exemption certificate
Active Account Status: For an account to remain active and receive the FREE ACE Net publication, you must purchase a minimum of $150 net per month. Failure to meet the $150 net minimum for 2 consecutive months MAY result in the inactivation of your account.
2. Discount & Rebate Terms
- Dealer Discount: As a qualified Ace dealer, you receive “every-day” competitive discounts on all
products that you buy from Ace.
- Cash Discount: Every invoice will indicate payments with and without a cash discount of 2%. Cash discount will be based on the actual dollar amount shipped.
3. Payment Terms
- Initial order: Before placing your first order, ALL dealer related paperwork (credit references, photographs, resale
number, etc.) must be received and approved.
- Credit Card: We accept MasterCard, Discover or Visa for payment. A 2% cash discount is applied on the credit card and COD payment.
- Cash or Check: Payment made by money order or check qualifies for cash discount if it is received
within 10 days from the invoice date. After that date, the full payment is due within 30 days. All balances after 30 days are considered past due. Blank checks are not accepted.
- Check Return: All checks returned are charged $20 to the payment account. ACE Hobby reserves the right to make no further shipments
on open account. The account will be placed on a cash basis
until new credit approval.
- Overdue Account: A 1.5% monthly (17.9% APR) interest fee is assessed for overdue accounts. Any delinquent account is not only charged interest, we
also reserve the right to make no further open shipments.
4. Order Terms
Placing Your Order: Our Sales Representatives are ready to take
your order from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Pacific Time. After business hours, you may leave your order on our answering
machine (please indicate your account number). You can also use our ordering form to mail or fax your order to us. Please write product/item numbers clearly on your orders.

- Minimum
Shippable Order: Order is shippable when it is over net $50. Back
Orders: Please indicate for every item whether or not you want
it on backorder (if an item is out of stock). We will only backorder items upon your request,
and backorders are reviewed every week or every time you place
a new order. Your backorders will be released alone or with your new order when the total is
over $50. Our Sales Representatives will call you to confirm the shipment before releasing your backorders. Any backorder older than 6 months will be canceled after
phone confirmation.

Minimum Order Quantity: Minimum order quantities are determined by manufacturers.
If a minimum order quantity exists for any item, it is indicated
after the product description on our Full Line Catalog.

Prices: Prices and discounts listed in ACE Hobby Publication are subject
to change without prior notice. Invoice pricing will be based on the day of shipment.
5. Shipment and Freight

Shipping
Method: Most shipments
will be sent via UPS or FEDEX ground or US Post Office depending on your
request. Because UPS imposes an additional charge for
hazardous material, we will ship hazardous materials via US Post
Office unless you specify otherwise. Please note that flammable/hazardous goods may not be shipped
by air, and that we are unable to track most of the packages sent
via the US Post Office.

Freight:
All orders will receive a freight allowance of up to 2%
of the invoice net. Shipments will be sent via UPS unless
otherwise noted. Shipments containing hazardous materials will be
billed accordingly. Questions, ask your Sales Representative for
more details.

Special Shipping Service: If a special service such as “Priority Mail”, “UPS Next Day Air”, “2nd Day Air” or “3-Day Select” is requested, the full amount
of freight is charged.

Insurance of Shipment: All packages
are insured if shipped via UPS. On packages over $50, insurance is required by US Post
Office and this charge will be billed additionally.

Fuel Policy: Due to the hazardous material restrictions, following is our policy concerning fuel.
- Fuel orders will be entered and billed separately to other orders. The net amount of the fuel order will not contribute toward orders for non-fuel items to help qualify for minimums, even if placed at the same time.
- Fuel must be ordered in case multiples with a minimum of one case. There are 4 gallons to a case and 6 one-half gallons to a case.
- Full freight is charged with a 5% freight allowance if paid within 30 days.
- You will receive the normal 2% 10/Net 30 fast-pay discount if paid in 10 days.
- We strive to ship the least expensive way. If the order is three cases or less, we normally ship UPS. Four cases or more go via truck line.If you have a desired carrier, please specify.
- Shipment Discrepancies

Reports of Shipment Discrepancies: All discrepancies including shortages, incorrect shipment, damaged
merchandise, lost boxes, missing parts, and defective merchandise
should be reported within 7 days of the receipt of shipment to
our customer service department (800) 322-7121. Please prepare a note of the discrepancies and have your
order, invoice number, items, and quantities at hand when calling
to report.

Shortage Incorrect
Shipment: Please contact
our customer service department immediately for a “Return/Replacement
Authorization” number. We will send the missing items ASAP or credit your account for these
items. Also, please report to our customer service
department, if you receive any merchandise not on the packing
invoice. Of course, we will pay for the return freight.

Damaged Merchandise Lost Boxes: If a box looks
damaged upon receipt, let the driver know about the situation
immediately and if there is damage, contact our customer service
department for further instruction. Please do not return damaged boxes, throw away the boxes
or any of the contents, or go through any of the contents. The insurance claims with the shipping company may require
further inspection. If you feel a box has been lost in shipment,
please contact our customer service department for tracking information
as the package can usually be tracked down. If the carrier does not arrive with the
package within 10 days of the scheduled delivery date, we will
credit your account or send you a replacement shipment based on
your request.
- Missing Part Defective Merchandise: For Thunder
Tiger and ACE Hobby exclusive products, please contact our customer
service department for return/replacement authorization and instruction. For other products, we must follow the manufacturer’s policies
as many of them require handling the defective merchandise or
missing items personally. If you have questions, you may contact
the manufacturer directly about these issues. If the manufacturer fails to respond, please feel free to contact
our customer service department and we will do our best to solve
any problem.
- Return Policy: Requests for returns must be made in writing
or by phone within 30 days of the invoice date. These items must be accompanied by a “Return/
Replacement Authorization” number, which may be obtained by calling
or writing to our customer service department. Please make sure that all return items are packaged in resaleable
condition. A 15% restocking charge may be assessed on all items returned after 60 days from
the date of shipment. No Credit and/or Returns can be made after 90 days from date of purchase.
